What to drink and eat on the flexitarian diet meal?

A flexitarian diet promotes many healthy behaviors, like loading up on whole foods and lean protein. And rarely eating red meat, below are a list of foods that are recommended by experts eating usually. In moderation and rarely have to follow a flexitarian diet.

  • Drinks/ Foods to have often:
  • Vegetables, whole grains, water, fruits, nuts, and seeds (recommended 1 to 2 ounces portion per day)
  • Foods/ Drinks to have in moderation:
  • Eggs, Low-fat cheese, Fish, Eggs, Low-fat yogurt, Poultry, and Caffeinated Beverages
  • Foods/ drinks to avoid if possible
  • Processed meat (hot dogs, bacon, sausage, salami)
  • Processes snacks (chips, candy, cookies)
  • Refined carbohydrates (pasta, bread, and pastries made with white flour)
  • Drinks with added sugar (energy drinks, soda, sweetened juice)
